Sharp IG-GC2A is designed to release high-density Plasmaclsuter ions that follow the airflow removing viruses and airborne allergens as well as cigarette and pet odours. With high and low operation mode, Plasmacluster ions are released at a 20 degree upwards angle and are carried along the ceiling of the area to every part of the interior by the Coanda effect. (Coanda effect: when a jet of air or water is discharged, it tends to travel along a nearby curved surface for a considerable distance, even to the point of bending around corners) 

Plasmacluster Ion technology is an original Sharp sanitising technology that purifies the air by emitting positive and negative ions. Plasmacluster Ion technology deactivates suspended airborne mould, viruses, dust mite allergens and bacteria. It attacks a wide range of odours including pet, cooking, garbage and cigarette smoke.
